Tokyo

Blog

Two weeks ago I was in Tokyo, which is now my no 1 favorite city. So inspiring city in so many ways. Buildings, architecture, design, all japanese designers such as Rei for Comme des Garçons, Yoji Yamamoto and Issey Miyake to name a few. The food and the people. I was so lucky to had the chance to meet so nice people that gave us the best recommendations and also took us to some really good japanese restaurant that I probably never should have found myself.
Got a private lesson in Nihonga painting which was really fun and relaxing. I also went to the Cosmetic Tokyo exhibition and had a look at all new products, ingredients and packaging for both skincare and makeup that soon will be released.

I am so happy that I booked hotel room at the Park Hyatt. Look at this view! Outstanding service throughout our stay. It was actually a part of my birthday gift to my husband. We also went for spa treatments at their spa “Club on the park”. Relaxing and love that they were using one of my favorite skincare brand Aesop.

One of my favorite spot was Aoyama. Good shopping and nice neighborhood.

Today I have been working at the fair “Apotek & Egenvård”. This fair is small if I compare to the fairs I been to abroad earlier this year. But it is always fun to meet people in the same industry and of course meet new acquaintances. They also have interesting lectures and you get an update on both skincare and makeup news.

I usually travel a lot in my work and I spend a lot of time in my car. After a busy day I just love to listen to loud music and clear my head. When I drive in the evening it is always hip hop that I listen to. This song from the early 90s is one of my favorites.
