David Bailey
BlogIn march I am going to London for a few days. Main thing with the trip is Disclosures concert at Alexandra Palace. Except from that I think we can squeeze in David Baileys “Bailey’s Stardust” exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery. David Bailey has made an outstanding contribution to photography and the visual arts, creating consistently imaginative and thought-provoking portraits.

Kraftwerk
BlogKraftwerk founders and electro pioneers Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider have been creating futuristic electro music since 1970 at their Kling Klang Studio in Düsseldorf, Germany, using synthetic sounds and voices, minimalist speech singing and lyrics with monotonous industrial rhythms. With the robot as their artistic alter ego and the 3-D visuals of their performances, they have explored the relationship between man and machine in multidisciplinary projects.
This week Kraftwerk gave some exclusive concerts at Cirkus in Stockholm as an extension of the exhibition “Dance Machines – From Léger to Kraftwerk” at Moderna Museet.
During the concert I found myself smile all the time, these men have inspired me for so many years. It was the best concert I´ve been to for a long time. The tickets for Kraftwerk 3-D shows at Cirkus sold out in no time. To all of you who wants to see them (they will return to Sweden!) I recommend their exclusive 3-D concert in Dalhalla on August 2.

BlogNew commercial in the making
BlogLast wednesday I did makeup and styling for a new commercial. We started in late evening and worked all night, mostly outside. As it was about -10 degrees outside it was really important to have a lot of clothes on. Usually the team is around 20 person and we work for 10-14 hours. And the final result is a 20 second commercial!
My biggest inspiration
BlogMy biggest inspiration is traveling. Here are some pics from my USA trip. From both road trippin´ and my week in Miami and then NYC.
One store I really liked in Miami was The Alchemist. It is like Paris Colette. On Lincoln Road you find this wonderful store full of high fashion brand mixed together with jewelry and books. I had a long and interesting conversation with the store owner about Proenza Schouler and Givenchy. Now I´m even more eager to buy Givenchy´s Pandora Box bag…
You also find another The Alchemist store on the 5th floor in a car park. That is the only store there! Love the contrast that you have a store full of Dior and other couture there.
Miami is full of art. To bad I missed Art Basel which is when the leading international galleries show work from masters of Modern and contemporary art as well as pieces by newly emerging stars, it was in the beginning of december.
Now we went to different museums and galleries so I´m happy anyway.
An other interesting thing is to look at all architecture. Especially in the Artdeco district.
Below is pics from New York, there is just so much to experience in this city.
First styling this year
BlogDover Street Market NY
BlogI recently arrived home from a 3 weeks trip in USA. The last week I spent in New York and one store I really looked forward to enter was Rei Kawakubo’s multibrand store DOVER STREET MARKET, which opened in december. The store is located at 160 Lexington Ave and have seven floors of high-end and luxury clothing placed between playful and creative spaces. There are already one DSM store in London and Ginza. I always go to the DSM store when I am in London.
Here are some of the brands that you can find in the store: Ann Demeulemeester, Comme des Garçons, Jil Sander, Junya Watanabe, Nike, Prada, Raf Simons, Rick Owens, Saint Laurent, Supreme and Sophie Bille Brahe.
